It’s official: flip flop season is here, and this time, it's not a soft launch. No more easing into summer with discreet slides or barely-there sandals. I'm talking a full, hard launch of flip flops, worn unapologetically with everything: tailored trousers, crisp shirting, oversized blazers, breezy slip dresses, and even denim-on-denim. Yes, the humble flip flop has graduated far beyond its beach-day origins, becoming the ultimate minimalist-meets-ironic fashion staple of the season. What makes this flip flop moment different? It's about juxtaposition: pairing the laid-back simplicity of a thong sandal with pieces that scream effort—elevated, intentional, refined.
