spring cleaning

My twin sister and I have a way of doing things in unison: falling for our first crush (unfortunately the same boy); having kids (our first were three months apart, our second, three weeks apart); and, now, renovating our homes. What is typically a painful process has been made a lot less painful thanks to furniture shopping together around town and flea markets abroad! Of course, there is also the question of how to make room for all the new stuff. . . So, starting today we're both parting with our former, but still much-loved, furnishings via Chairish courtesy of their help-you-figure-out-pricing-tool-for-vinatge/used stuff, The Chairish Pink Book. (For those of you not familiar with Chairish, it's a super curated online marketplace for chic vintage furniture and décor, where I've snapped up numerous well-priced treasures for my home in the past!) If you are curious about what adorned my house in recent times, this will offer some insight--plus there are quite a few things I'm parting with that I feel I may one day regret (!), like this Serge Moule-inspired light fixture, these room-punctuating turquoise urns, this Lulu DK pillow, this striking bamboo mirror, and this pagoda chandelier, which used to elegantly hang in my home office. That being said, I'm sure these pieces will inevitably become someone else's finds! Check out the entire sale here.

Please tell us about your jacket! Your sister is in Gucci, but I can't find it online.
Are your stripes Jcrew?

My jacket is by Opening Ceremony, from ages ago. It actually belongs to my sister and she is wearing my Gucci cardigan. Stripes are from Gap, also old!

what lipstick shade are you wearing here? It's gorgeous!

What a genius idea Chairish is. I wonder if there is one in the UK?

Will you please tell me what size you bought in the Gucci cardigan? I bought it (size S), which I am typically, but it fit like a baby doll sweater! I thus returned it. Wish it fit me like it fits you and your sister.

I bought the Gucci in XL as I wanted it to be more jacket-like and it just fits. It definitely runs super duper small. Typically, I am a size 6.
