Stripes! Gingham! Cut-outs! Crops tops and off-the-shoulder-blouses! These were the headlining Spring 2015 trends on the New York runways. Meanwhile, off the catwalk, wardrobe basics grabbed the spotlight. I'm talking good old jeans, crisp button-down shirts, denim blouses, classic pointy-toe slingback pumps, and go-with-everything black bags. The look is all-American, elegantly understated and forever stylish. While I already possess many of these closet staples, I'm inspired to seek out a few updates that will endure for seasons to come, such as these black slingbacks by , and .
