family feud

I spent the weekend with my twin sister in New York. No husbands. No kids. Just us. Just like old times. We fell into our old habits: sleeping together in the same room, running side by side along the Hudson River, and walking arm in arm through the streets of Soho. And, like typical sisters, especially those who are six minutes apart in age, we argued. The biggest feud was precipitated by the $68 sequin Endless Rose top, above. There was only one at Pixie Market on the Lower East Side, and the issue was who would get it. We finally struck a deal: I get to wear it first, then she could have it, and I could borrow on demand. (She basically argued that I have more clothes than her, which is true, so she deserved it). Turns out that I'll triumph after all as the top is now available on Shopbop. So, there!

Love it in ivory too, Marlien! Is the tweed heavy? Would it be suitable for summer evenings? xo

I am so getting this top.

Thanks Marlien

The tweed is not too heavy. You could definitely wear it in the summertime. The top does run true to size, but keep in mind it is cropped. I got a medium.

… not that there is a competitive side to either of you, I gather…? ;)

Marlien, just wanted to let you know I've ended up purchasing this top in ivory (its summer in Australia and I thought grey is a bit too heavy). I got a small as I'm tiny and fits me perfectly…not mentioning I am obsessed with it now…so festive-looking too! Thanks so much! xo

So glad to hear you got the top and its success. Now it's really clear why my sister and I tusseled over it!
