let it shine

$62, asos
I knew I was on to something special the other day when I zeroed in on this party-perfect sequin skirt--and apparently so were others as it sold out before I got to publish this post on LE CATCH! Le sigh... The good news is that this skirt also comes in a pretty green hue, which I think might even be better. I actually just ordered it!

Oooo! I love this skirt! Perfect for the holidays. I like the green better as well. How would you style this one? Similar to the pink one, in a monochorme look? Thank you!

I would do the green skirt with a chunky ivory cable-knit, or a black or dark navy sweater.

Thank you, Marlien!

Hi Marlien,

So would it be too crazy to pair the green skirt with the navy cable sweater from Philip Lim's Target line that you blogged about? The one with the tiny bit of sparkle at neck? Good or too much? Thanks!

Oh! One more thing..how do you think this runs? I've never bought a skirt from Asos...

That navy sweater/green skirt combo sounds like it would work! Asos runs true to size (unlike J.Crew, for example, which runs a bit big).
