maxed out minis

$80, warehouse

It seems like I can't go a day without seeing a picture of a stylish woman wearing a bold print mini (like this, that and this). It's definitely inspiring me to follow suit in a skirt like this...

1. Splendid tank top, $60, netaporter.com
2. Super Sunglasses, $249, shopbop.com
3. Kenzo sweatshirt, $217, matchesfashion.com
4. Asos faux ponyhair purse, $37, asos.com
5. Cynthia Vincent sandals, $205, piperlime.com
6. Warehouse ikat print mini skirt, $80, warehouse.andotherbrands.com

What do you think about wearing mini skirts at the age of 40?

I'm for it--as long as you feel comfortable wearing a mini! To keep the look refined, pair it with a low heel, sandal, flats or bootie.

I'm 50 and although I work out everyday, I don't think a mini is a good look for me anymore. Love the skirts, just wish I could find something similar to these
that went to the top of my knees!

I'm 50 too, and I have to agree. Suddenly things that seemed ok at 40, really don't anymore. Skirts right above the knee feel best to me too, and they can be hard to find. Thankfully pencil skirts are in style right now - otherwise it's maxis or minis.
