collector's item

If there was some type of ranking system among women with the most Henri Bendel sweaters, my mom would be stationed high up there. When I was growing up in New York, she had every color imaginable and in every silhouette, from crewneck to V-neck to turtleneck, and she would insist I stockpile them too. And, yes, we also amassed a collection of the store's iconic brown and white striped cosmetic bags. So when Henri Bendel asked me to contribute to its Summer Style Guide, I, still a loyal fan, happily agreed. You can check it out here where I am sporting some of my favorite bags and jewelry from their current collection.

Love your interview! I, too, love butterscotch pudding at Gjelina. YUM! I also want to add that I am just loving your blog. Clean, simple and chic. You are speaking my language!

P.S. I was lucky (no pun intended) to hear you speak with my pal Amy Swift and LWL forever ago.

The patchwork jacket you're wearing in the 3rd photo is to die for. I couldn't sleuth out any background on it in the feature. Who is it?

Best!

The floral pants are from H&M too! Got them recently so they may still be in store. The clutch is by Henri Bendel and will available online in the next week or so.
