into ikat

$59, mango
I have a thing for ikat. It may be the Indonesian in me (my mother is from Jakarta). The print is everywhere you look in my house: festooning my bedskirt, enlivening my living room throw pillows, accenting my sarongs (picked up by the dozen in Bali!). Hence, my arduous attraction to these pants. I'd roll in them with...

1. Faith Connexion leather-trimmed sweatshirt, $330, netaporter.com
2. Isabel Marant coat (on sale!), $1404, mytheresa.com
3. Mango ikat pants, $59, mango.com
4. Michael Kors rose gold watch, $180, shopbop.com
5. Hive & Honey mixed rings, $26, piperlime.com
6. Zara suede bowler bag, $129, zara.com
7. Manolo Blahnik patent leather d'Orsay pumps, $695, bergdorfgoodman.com

Is Mango popular in the States? Here (Dublin) it used to beage, until Zara came, and now I think of Mango as the brand for teens. Maybe I should take another look?

Mango is not that popular--still trying to raise its profile here in the US, but I do think it's worth scouring from time to time as some gems do come along.

Jakarta, we lived there for three years. Indonesia is amazing. So many textures and shadows.
