case by case

For my trip to Europe last summer I stuffed a weeks' worth of clothes, shoes and bags into a carry-on suitcase only to have it split--true story--in Split, Croatia. My packed-to-the-gills suitcase literally burst open as I was going through airport security. A customs officer kindly helped me tape it together while I sat on top of it. The scene was both hilarious and harrowing! So, I've been in the market for a replacement and just found this incredibly chic leather-trimmed (and well-priced) Mark and Graham that I had monogrammed. Win!

Which color/monogram are you getting? Im thinking single letter in while on the black one.

I love the white but got black because it will wear better/last longer, I think. I also did the Dharma monogram.

Is it lightweight? I'm so sick of lugging around heavy carry-ons!

I think it said it's 7lbs.
Just ordered mine

Hi Marlene,
A Le Catch packing tips post would be great especially for carry on minded gals :)

I was in Sag Harbor, New York, at Baron's Cove, a chic boutique hotel.
