Leave it to Michael Rider to take the humble cardigan and turn it into the coolest styling trick of the season. At Celine’s Resort ‘26 show three days ago in Paris, the knit staple got a major refresh—worn sideways, buttoned just at the neck, and left to cascade over the body like a cape. Unexpected? Yes. Instantly covetable? Absolutely. And easy to execute inexpensively right now with this, this and this (good button contrast!). And the jeans? The shape of things to come: high-waisted, ankle-tapered, crisp with a front-press crease, yet softened by that perfectly vintage, worn-in wash that feels like it’s been yours for years. A little structured, a little slouchy, and 100% what I want to wear now--currently by Toteme (on sale), TWP, and Paige. Plus, if you weren’t already reaching for a scarf, now’s the time—styled with almost every look, they felt less like an accessory and more like a necessary punctuation to a fresh new vibe.
