There’s something almost magnetic about Ulla Johnson’s signature pieces—those artisanal embroideries, vibrant prints, and feminine silhouettes that practically announce themselves in a crowd. They’re recognizable in the best way. But what I’ve been loving lately are the Ulla pieces that feel a little more off-the-radar, unidentifiable even—but no less exquisite. Perhaps they're even more elegant and elevated but in that same easy-to-wear Ulla way. And as fate (and fashion karma) would have it: some of these desirables are on major sale right now, including the embellished coat/dress (yep, that's right, which comes unadorned too), above, and, below, the crochet maxi, the lace-up color-block dress and the ruffled topSpeaking of sales, Saks' designer sale is officially on, and it’s flush with Ulla—both the statement-makers and the stealth-stunners—as well as a host of other covetable labels (score #1, score #2, score #3).
