My first set of wheels was a 13-foot Boston Whaler boat with a 35-horsepower engine. My twelve-year-old twin sister and I shared it and motored from our house in Westhampton Beach to the beach, town, tennis, friends' homes--or any local place that had a dock. On days when we had nowhere to go, we'd simply just drift on the bay, or waterski or picnic on it. We were young lucky ducks, bequeathed with what felt like horizonless independence along with a deep love for boating. So, you can only imagine my excitement today when I discovered that ever-buoyant Boston Whaler teamed up with super hip New York City-based Tombolo on a just-launched collection, rife with old-school terry cloth t-shirts, sweatshirts and cabana tops! Tombolo previously collaborated with Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano, one of my most favorite hotels, and the clothes, below, and are also crazy cute! Also on deck: the Maeve embellished polo shirt (that's vibing Miu Miu) and the bow-tie H&M. Let's cast off, shall we?
