Last thing I thought I'd be doing on Thursday, January 4, at 10PM, is dancing to disco music. But there I was celebrating a friend's birthday and ringing in the new year all over again, but this time in casual everyday denim. The 20+ others in attendance were similarly dressed (down) in a zero-effort, holiday-fatigue uniform, buttressed by some standout (party-friendly) styles, which included this Blaze Milano blazer over a fitted black turtleneck, this truly perfect Another Tomorrow t-shirt and trousers (above), these plush Khaite stripes and low-heeled Toteme boots, this outfit-making Khaite belt (proof below), these fresh-cut Tove jeans, these suede loafers by The Row, and this unerringly-chic cashmere La Ligne sweater.
