With all of us hunkering down at home during the holidays, Santa's elves will be working extra hard this year to bring peace and joy. Perhaps I could help them with some spirit-boosting gift guiding. I'm thinking offbeat, over-the-top things that will make home more of a sweet home. Those bent on glam could indulge in Louis Vuitton's playing cards and pouch (read: wallet!), above, or Birdies' glitter slippers, last pic, perfect for at-home entertaining and social distancing. (BTW: they're ridiculously comfy!) Kids with cabin fever will go bananas over these retro roller skates or the below inflatable snowmobile sled. My bestie Backgammon lover would love the chic leather mongrammed set, below. I personally would like to punctuate my walls with New England-based artist Scott Patt's bold typography prints (my twin sis has the below $25 prints in her NYC apartment). Of further assistance, Net-A-Porter just launched its first-ever lifestyle shop, stocked with the most sought-after splurges (this, this and this) and all things Byredo (I'm obsessed!) that will certainly blunt my stay-at-home buzzkill.
