Check out all the offerings here. The sale runs through March 4.

high drama

While everyone in my neck of the woods is still reeling over last's night dramatic ending at the Oscars, I've moved on to the fantastic and inspiring theater that is Milan Fashion Week. The fluffy feathers at Prada! The wild florals at Marni! The bold red boots at Fendi! Off the catwalk, blockbuster outerwear played the starring role, specifally graphic furs, high gloss leathers and fluffy jackets. Here are some of my favorite looks--and ways to pull them off right now from Sandy Liang (on sale!), Warehouse, Harvey Faircloth, Shrimps, Coach, Lanvin (on sale!), Mango and Pixie Market.

Spotted everywhere from New York to London to Milan: eye-popping winter white sunglasses. I love their vintage spirit and look-at-me boldness--and how they add a cool pop to any outfit. (I worked this pair last summer, which you can find here.) I particularly like these styles from Saint Laurent (pictured above and below), Topshop, Illesteva, Asos, and J.Crew.

take a hike

Only a six-foot-one glamazon like stylist Veronique Heilbrunner can make trekking around Paris (above) in hiking boots look vraiment chic. Granted, hers are no ordinary boots; They're by Acne Studios--and the Christopher Kane fur jacket helps too. Still, no can do! However, I do think I could pull of these killer fur-trimmed boots from the streets to the slopes--and, dare I say, even yonder.

weekending

As we head into the long holiday weekend, hopefully sprinkled with peace and quiet, I thought I'd share some off duty style inspo! I'm loving the relaxed yet chic look, above, which is nicely polished off with this embellished (Marni-ish) Banana Republic parka (below). It's an outfit that's both errand-friendly and occasion-worthy. More just-out pieces that execute this hard-to-strike balance include this Coach leather jacket, this English Factory blouse, this Diane Von Furstenberg coat (on sale!), these J.Crew sailor chinos, and this Mango convertible sweater.

stepping out

These pics hot-off-the-Vogue-Espana press are inspiring me to inject a little spring into my winter game. Following the lead of these stylish New Yorkers (all photographed this past week), I'd like to team my cold weather gear with some skin-baring sandals. The combo is unexpected but somehow works! Of course, weather conditions must allow for this footwear choice, but I say, if the temp is close to 50-degrees, I'd go for it with styles like these from Sanayi 313 (above), Manolo Blahnik, Gianvito Rossi, Miu Miu, Gucci, and Asos.

camo cool

In New York fashion warriors are busting out bold camo prints to battle the cold and punctuate their style statement. Chalk it up to current politics or perhaps a simple retreat to a tried-and-true print; either way camouflage is back, big time. Some excellent ways to join the brigade come from Canada Goose (above), And Other Stories, Free People, Levi's, and Topshop. Forge on!

my crew

So excited to be included in J.Crew's spring style guide, just out now! Everything about the shoot was fun, from being photographed by my twin sis to test-driving new season styles and coveting--no joke!--pretty much everything on the shoot's clothing racks. My favorite pieces include this embellished cardigan, this cotton voile tunic, this cropped trench, this one-shoulder ruffle dress (in so many cute colors!), these sailor jeans and these fun sparkly sandals. For more BTS details, snaps, and to see how I styled the pretty print skirt, above, in various ways, click here!

in the hood

Fashion over function is typically the mandate for New York Fashion Week goers. But not this year, as they're opting to weather the cold in more practical style--with help from the humble hoodie. Worn under a more luxurious statement coat, this practical layer lends much-needed warmth, downtown edge--and, ideally, a fun pop of color. I like these hoodies from H&M, Topshop, Volcom, Tibi, Rebecca Minkoff and James Perse.

more pearls

For those of you who missed out on the Miu Miu lookalikes yesterday, don't despair because now you can get your hands (and feet!) on these pearl-trimmed Chanel-ish slides (the real ones, above, are already sold out.) Happy Friday!

the aussie cover up

Looking ahead to summer (in spite of the thunder snow and pouring rain!), I'm looking to the currently sun-drenched Australians, who are eschewing the traditional swimsuit cover-up for a knotted old-school t-shirt instead. The look is understated and cool--yet alluring, too. I'm particularly partial to the Billabong long sleeve t-shirt, above, as wearing one might help me better blend in with my surf-loving boys and husband! Other great options include this, or this (in size small!), or this.

pearly slides

Last week I contemplated buying these playfully decadent Miu Miu slides, but then convinced myself to wait and see. Good thing as I discovered another version this morning at a price that permits me to purchase them in pink too!

tassels

Last Saturday night I attended a fundraiser for my children's school, a festive Moroccan-themed event, brimming with embroidered caftans, hooded djellabas, and glittery slippers. I took the opportunity to bust out a pair of fun tassel earrings, and considering the compliments I received, I'm now planning to wear them again and again. I love how they add an exotically opulent accent to any outfit (even a simple H&M top, above). I also like these jaw-droppers from Jolie (similar to above), Bauble Bar, Serafina, and Chloe.
