classic cables

These snaps from New York Fashion Week are rekindling my passion for the classic cable knit sweater. I have a few (one in cream, another in camel) stashed in my closet and once the temperature drops, I'll be busting them both out. I think they look modern and fresh teamed with something feminine, like a flouncy skirt--but also great with a pair of jeans. I dug up a few fantastic options including a straight-up cotton Mango, a deliciously tricked-out Phillip Lim, a cozy turtleneck 525 America, a knitted angora Topshop, and a perfectly oversize Ami Dans La Rue

An amazing designer for cabled sweaters is Delphine Wilson.

These sweaters make me look so big, since I have broad shoulders. I love them but in order not to look like a wrestler, I avoid them.

Just wanted to say that Le Catch is my daily bible - perfectly edited and full of inspiration. Thank you from NYC.

Love this look! Does anyone who know makes the satchel she's carrying?
