shirt tale

Whenever my fashion photographer twin travels to a glamorous locale for a shoot, I always ask her to bring me something back. After returning from Mallorca, Spain, a few days ago (which happened to be her wedding venue 12 years ago!), she came home with what could be the most valuable thing yet: a tip on where to buy the most perfectly fitting white button-down shirt. Everyone on the shoot, she explained, had the same one, including the uber force-behind-many-fashion-zeitgeists stylist on the job. The cotton shirt, she went on, is lightweight, easy to layer, and also just the right amount of loose-fitting to make it utterly flattering. You can find it here

Does Madewell tend to fit like Jcrew...running on the bigger side?

The Madewell shirt has a pocket; do you know the source of the shirt in the photo?

Marlien, The link to the shirt in the photo takes me to a dead page, but looks like it's supposed to take us to an Urban Outfitters page?

Use the promo code GIFTON for 25% off on top of the sale price. I find Madewell stuff runs small, so I opted for a Large rather than my usual mediumn from J.Crew. Being a cotton shirt, if it runs big, I can always toss it in the dryer for shrinkage. It is also Final Sale, so I'd rather have something I can wear than just sit in the closet unworn. Thank you for this find!!! I love Le Catch!

Is the shirt your sister recommended the style from Urban Outfitters or Madewell?

Sorry for the confusion--the shirt recommended by my sis is by Madewell.
