mix and match earrings

I've been wearing non-matching earrings lately--the effect is a part playful, part unpredictable. The only caveat is they have to look a little bit similar, otherwise you veer into fashion mishap territory. I usually mix earrings that have like metals or stones. That's why these Freida & Nellie sets work. I'm leaning toward the black and gold pair, myself.
