top hat

It rarely rains in LA, but yesterday it did, and I got caught in a downpour--twice. First time I was running and wearing a baseball hat, which managed to keep my hair dry, while just about everything else got drenched. Next, I was running from a pedicure appointment to my car, wishing I had a baseball cap, but not my running one, because it was still wet. (I suppose I've become a true Angeleno in that I don't think to bring an umbrella with me, even though it's raining out.) Anyhow, I know I am very late to the game on this one, but I need a non-running, non-sun-shielding baseball hat--one that's designed to be stylish and keep my head warm and dry when I am running around doing everyday things. I'm thinking this one from J.Crew and/or this one from Asos will work perfectly. (Fyi, the cap above and bottom is from Miu Miu, but is no longer available.)

Think the first one is Miu Miu, Yvonne has it in black and white, she is so cool and will love to see it on your blog. X

I love the one from JCrew. Besides a lovely cap, I recommend an umbrella. Just in case. ;-)

I absolutely love the Jcrew hat and -saves my hair from getting terribly frizzy in our seattle drizzle- and I am so happy to see it in more colors- just ordered another in black (25% off and free ship!). Thanks Marlien!
